Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design organized an event titled "Undergraduate Students Speeches" on Friday, January 22, 2021. In the activity given in the Fall Term of 2020-2021 and carried out within the scope of the ‘’ 20th Century Architecture’’course led by Lecturer Elif Gelmez Demir, The end-of-course studies of the students were discussed with the contributions of Asst. Prof. Armağan Seçil Melikoğlu Eke, Lecturer Meltem Çetinel and Res. Asst. Merve Aksoy Oral.

Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design organized an event titled "The Most Successful Project Selection and Award Ceremony" for the Spring Semester of the 2019-2020 Academic Year. The projects of the students in the selection were exhibited at the event held on Tuesday, December 29 through Microsoft Teams with intensive participation, and the most successful project owners selected were awarded their certificates.

The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design organized an e-seminar titled "A Road Story" on the Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application on Monday, December 21, 2020. Photograph Artist F. Dilek Uyar who attended the event as a speaker, shared her views on her photography adventure by explaining the connection between photography art and architecture.

"Future in Furniture Design" with Corian Seminar within the scope of  Furniture Design course in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 14:00 in Furniture Design CATS Virtual Class and will be moderated by Merve Aşçıoğlu. In line with the decision of Council of Higher Education (YÖK), because of the Covid-19 infection possibilities and to protect our students’ health, our University made a decision about not to do internships in any other organsiation. For this reason, internships cannot be held in any other organsiations. Mid-term students can do their internships during the 2020-2021 academic year midterm break or summer break.

Özgenur Bingöl, Sergen Ortakaya, Erva Arslantürk, Aleyna Sena Övündür and Ayça Terazi, one of the students of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, contacted the Municipalities and Mukhtars to help our disabled citizens in the pandemic process that affected the world within the scope of the "Design for Disabled" course. 

In parallel with the development of digital technologies in the world, traditional education models based on space have evolved into an integrated structure through virtual environments. Digital possibilities, which are the main determinant of the integrated structure with the effect of a global pandemic, eliminate the access barrier created by time and space, and create new areas of cooperation and freedom. A process in which there are “limitlessness in boundaries” can really open new windows to education life.

A seminar will be held on 17th April 2020, Friday at 01:00pm, within the scope of the IAD4033 Interior & Furniture course conducted by Instructor Merve Aşçıoğlu, to provide network between students, professionals and industry. CKMY Architects co-founders Mert Yılmaz and Can Kendir, who had completed many projects in Turkey and abroad and Mobal's General Manager Yiğit Toksoy will gave an E-seminar titled with "Furniture in Detail".
