History

The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, which was established within the İstanbul Kültür University Faculty of Art and Design in July 1997 under the Law No. 4281, started its education and accepted its first students in the 2002-2003 Academic Year. The Department, which began its education in the Ataköy Campus in 2002, had its first graduates in 2006.

The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Turkish program started education with 25 students and later increased the quota to 65 students. The English Program of the Department was opened with a quota of 55 students in the 2016-2017 Academic Year. The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, which has been continuing education under the Faculty of Architecture since 2016, has been offering a Master’s Program since 2004.
