İstanbul Kültür University-Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design 2023-2024 Academic Year Fall Term Final Exam Schedule has been announced.
The 10th award ceremony and colloquium of the "MEKAN2023 Interior Architecture Students National Graduation Projects Competition", organized this year by Istanbul Kültür University Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, was hosted by Istanbul Planning Agency on Monday, December 25, 2023, at 14.00.
Tahincioğlu Holding Design Office Coordinator, Architect Kader Şahin Geyyas, gave a seminar on the renovation and application processes in buildings at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on December 22, 2023, as an event of the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design.
Within the scope of the activities of the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design; Lion Klinker Company Marketing Manager M.Sc. Architect Funda Algın Süzen attended the Yapı Bilgisi ve Malzeme-I /Building Construction and Material-I courses as an invited speaker and gave a seminar on "Uses of Brick in Architecture" both in Turkish and English on 29-30/11/2023.
Within the scope of the activities of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design of the Faculty of Architecture, Marmara Regional Sales Manager Eren Yüksel and Architectural Marketing Specialist Selin Nazlı from Aspen Company, one of the leading companies in the Construction Sector, made the presentation titled "Aspen on Campus" at the Önder Öztunalı Hall on November 21, 2023.
Assist. Prof. Bilge ŞAN ÖZBİLEN from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Faculty of Architecture, participated in the "15th NATIONAL ACOUSTICS CONGRESS AND EXHIBITION" held at TRAKYA UNIVERSITY on 2-3 November 2023, under the leadership of the Turkish Acoustics Association (TAKDER), with her oral presentation titled "AN APPROACH TO DETERMINE OPTIMUM EXTERIOR WALL TYPE AT THE DESIGN STAGE"
Within the scope of "İÇM0711-İç Mimarlık Proje VII" and "IAD0711 Interior Design Studio VII" courses of the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, on October 6, 2023 A technical tour was organized to the Historical Kibrithane Building with the lecturers Assist. Prof. Arzu Erçetin, Assist. Prof. Bilge Özbilen, Lecturer Aysun Karabay, Lecturer M. Hakan Yılmazer and Lecturer Selma Çiğdem.
In collaboration with Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture and Erasmus+ Internship Consortium, a summer school consisting of 10 workshops titled "Architectural detail and the search for Genius Loci in a contemporary sketch by young architects" will be organized between 06-16 September. One of the courses planned before the summer school will be held online and the other 3 courses will be held at our Ataköy campus. Within the scope of the event; 7 excursions including the Historical Peninsula and its surroundings and sketching studies will be carried out in the field.
Istanbul Kültür University Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design announced the courses to be opened in 2022-2023 Summer Education.
A workshop on "Architectural Photography and Perspective", which is a part of the doctoral thesis of Res. Assist. Feyza Nur Dişkaya, a Ph.D. student at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, the Department of Interior Architecture, co-advised by Assist. Prof. Aliye Rahşan Karabetça, a faculty member of the Faculty of Architecture, the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, was held on May 31, 2023, with the participation of students from Istanbul Kültür University and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
