İç Mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı Bölümü, öğretim üyeleri Doç. Dr. Rana Kutlu ve Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Vehbi Tosun koordinatörlüğünde yürütülmekte olan İÇM0511-0612 İç Mimarlık Proje 5-6 ve IAD0612 Interior Design Studio 6 dersleri kapsamında Beykoz Cam Ocağı Atölyesi’ne teknik gezi düzenledi. 8 Şubat Cuma günü gerçekleştirilen geziyle; bölgenin özelliklerini kavramak, proje konusu ile ilgili yerinde ayrıntılı bilgi edinmek, cam tasarımı, malzeme özellikleri-üretimi ile ilgili farkındalık yaratmak ve mekânsal gereksinimleri belirleyerek Beykoz Cam Ocağı’na yönelik alternatif tasarım yaklaşımları ile yenileme projeleri hazırlamak amaçlandı. Bu kapsamda üretilen projeler İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi ve Beykoz Cam Ocağı ortaklığında gerçekleştirilmesi planlanan organizasyon ile sergilenecek. 

A field trip was organized by the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, with our students to Beykoz Glass Furnace Workshop on February 8, 2019 within the scope of İÇM0511-0612 Interior Design Studio and IAD0612 Interior Design Studio, which is carried out under the coordination of Assoc Prof. Rana Kutlu and Ass. Prof. Vehbi Tosun.

The aim of this trip was to comprehend the characteristics of the region, to obtain detailed information on site about the subject of the project and the campus, to create awareness on glass design, material properties and production, and to prepare renovation projects with alternative design approaches for the Beykoz Glass Furnace Campus by determining spatial requirements. The students final projects will be exhibited with a special organization planned to be realized in partnership with İstanbul Kültür University and Beykoz Glass Furnace.
