The second of the meeting series titled "Academic Portraits from the Architecture of the Republic Period" organized by the Architecture Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University as part of the "100th Anniversary of Our Republic Celebration Events" was reserved for Arif Hikmet Holtay. Elif Gelmez Demir and Furkan Evliyaoğlu, from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, will attend the meeting as guest speakers with their presentation titled “İş Bank Branches of Arif Hikmet Holtay, Building Science Instructor of the Academy”.

The project titled “Energy Efficient Living Unit for Disaster Situations” created by Şimal Kalkan, 4th year student of Architecture (English) and Öykü Konya, 2nd year student of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, under the supervision of Prof. Dr.

Assist. Prof. Bilge Şan Özbilen from the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, gave a lecture on "Acoustic Laboratories, Laboratory Measurements and Used Standards" at Kadir Has University Cibali Campus on January 12, 2023 as part of the D2 Building Acoustics Measurements Certificate Training conducted by the Turkish Acoustic Association (TAKDER).
