One of our academicians from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Assoc. Prof. Derya Adıgüzel Özbek's project titled “From the Internal Ornament Workshop to the Digital Age: The Past, Present, and Future of Interior Architecture Education” was entitled to be supported within the scope of the 1001-The Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program “Special Call for the 100th Anniversary of Our Republic”.
The project “From the Internal Ornament Workshop to the Digital Age: The Past, Present, and Future of Interior Architecture Education”, which was carried out by one of our faculty members of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Assoc. Prof. Derya Adıgüzel Özbek was entitled to receive support under the “Special Call for the 100th Anniversary of Our Republic” held within the scope of the “1001 - The Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program” carried out by the Research Support Programs Presidency (ARDEB) to support research projects that aim to understand the historical, cultural, political, social, and economic dynamics of our Republic and to offer new perspectives for the vision of the future.
The main purpose of the project is to examine the past, present and future of interior architecture education and to reveal effective practices in the light of future technological developments, environmental/sustainability, social and economic developments towards global and national development goals. In this way, a contribution will be made to the definition of the evolution strategy of interior architecture vocational education in our country and to the development of its adaptation capacity.
